Are these 7k pokemon cards worth it?
I'd say it's worth it if you can use them or if you're collecting them.

Not to just have them though.

Reply:Probably not worth that much, Pokemon died out like 5 years ago.
Reply:definitely not worth it right now and not worth it any time in the forseeable future. please understand that its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. so if your willing to pay $400 for it, then its worth just that. if you look at cards now (mostly sports cards) the only ones that have any intrensic value would be those that are 90+ years old and very limited as far as print # is concerned. although $400 is alot of money to dish out for a fad that died out around 5 years ago, i still might purchase these cards and then lock them up somewhere. preferably in an attic or somewhere where they wont be bothered or handled. one day, you will just forget about them. this will keep them in the exact conditiion that they are right now and if you can maintain that condition, that is what will make them valuable. maintain their condition and integrity. as far as those packs that are "unopened".....keep them that way. good luck
