I need ideas for Black and White wedding, with some hot blue accents ?

So its kinda hard to tell you about the blue... so the color I'm looking for is the blue color of the dragon fruit starburst... I know its stupid to say, but its the only example of blue that was close that I could find a pic of %26gt;%26gt; http://www.typetive.com/candyblog/item/s... .Anyways its a December wedding, and I'm just clueless on the flowers, because there isn't many flowers out there that are that color... So I know I want the bridesmaids to carry ball bouquets...I was thinking white with a black ribbon... but my bouquet, I'm clueless on, along with the center peices... And ideas would be great.... =)

OH... no "sea worthy" wedding ideas lol! I know a blue wedding automatically says OCEAN! but its going to be december and we live no where near the beach =/

What if you did something like this for your bouquet? I think it would be nice - and you can keep part of it as well.

As for the centerpieces - do you want to do a floral or non-floral centerpiece?

I think floral centerpieces are beautiful - but they can end up being pricey depending on what you want.

Here are a few ideas that you might be able to use:

I hope that this will help! Good luck! ?
Reply:hmm... that's almost a Tiffany Blue. I'll tell you right now that blue is a hard color to match when it comes to flowers! You're going to need an additional color in there. I'm doing Tiff. blue with black, white and hot pink. However, there are hydrangeas that come in that bright blue color. They're exotic and usually the potted plant, not the cut ones... so they might be more expensive. You can also stem dye or spray paint flowers to be your color.

You'd probably be better off doing white flowers with black pins in the middle (stephanotis is perfect for that) with a blue ribbon around the vase. It might look better.
Reply:Peacock feathers are that turquoise-y blue. I know someone whose bridesmaids wore black and the groomsmen wore black and white. The flowers were white and studded with peacock feathers for the blue. The tables had black or white cloths with stripes of turquoise ribbons (large ribbons) running in all directions and large silver candelabras with tall white or black taper candles. Each dinner napkin was white with a turquoise ribbon wrapped around and a peacock feather stuck under the ribbon. Your bridesmaids could carry white flowers with a black ribbon and you could carry white flowers with a white ribbon. marthastewart.com has a TON of wedding resources. There are many different examples of white bouquets as well as color palettes that can help you out.
