Cascading Wedding Boquet??

I have decided I would like a cascading wedding boquet. I am trying to figure out what I want the flourist to put in it though. We are having a beach wedding. My bridesmaids dresses are a pastel yellow, however I don't know if I want an all white boquet or if I should work some tropical colors into it. I also don't know what sort of flowers I should use in it. I am thinking some large lillies, I also really like orchids, and may have a few orchids in my hair. Anyone who may have a picture of one they loved or their own that they were really proud of or suggestions for me would be great! Thanks a lot! :)
Cascading Wedding Boquet??
Orchids are lovely for a cascading bouquet. With your bridesmaids dresses, I would go for some tropical colours in the bouquet, it will look lovely. Talk to your florist - mine was so helpful in telling me what flowers would go best with the idea I had for the flowers. You know the shape you want, once you have decided on colour and signature flower (I think orchids would be nice) then the florist can tell you what else would go with it.
Reply:I can recommend you the girl who helped me with my wedding flowers (centerpieces and bouquets), her name is Maria, she is a senior wedding flower consultant and works for a flower farm in south america, the name is rosesource.com and they sell farm-direct flowers... the 2nd image in is interesting- click around the site it's pretty informative :o)

personally i love the old bouquets with a trail of thin knoted ribbon but can't seem to find a picture... but ribbon would be one way to get your wedding colors in in a creative way
Reply:I didn't have one myself, but I love the cascading bouquets!

I would definetly go with some fun color flowers your getting married on the beach it can be so beautiful, dont do white for you, do something exotic %26amp; tropical, add some yellow flowers, maybe for your girls go all white. good luck and congrats
Reply:Calla lillies and orchards are beautiful. add a bit of color so your bouquet stands out against you and in the photos that you will have taken. you can be bold too and add bright hughes of pink
Reply:i had one. my sister made it for me.

It had Roses, alstromaria, spidermums, casablanca lillies, bells of ireland, snap dragons, daisy mums, palm leaves, ivy, and 1 gebra daisy that my brother gave me the night before my wedding...

Are these kind of what you have in mind? Purple orchids will be lovely against pastel yellow (or white for your gown), and also combine well with lilies. I'd avoid calla lilies because they will look stiff in a cascade with orchids.

The second website also shows a pure-yellow cascade bouquet arrangement with orchids only. Also lovely against a white backdrop, and then your bridesmaids could have white bouquets only.
Reply:I'm doing a cascading bouquet with roses and carnations. I also think your idea of lilies and orchids will look great as long as you don't use calla lilies. Definitely use tropical colors. if you did all white it would blend into your dress.
Reply:I had a cascading wedding bouquet with calla lillies! It was beautiful! I had some pink and white flowers in it. My wedding colors were brown and pink.
